My Daffodils have arrived! *o*

So, I already said a couple of posts earlier that I ordered yellow Daffodil pumps from getchristianlouboutin.co.uk. Today they finally arrived! And let me tell you one thing... it's not really a 90% discount - they're fake -_- But! No matter for that fact, they're amazing! The shoes are really good quality, they're real suede leather, dyed yellow (the ink kinda came off on my hands a bit...) but they are vibrant yellow. The size fits perfectly, I ordered 37 and they're one of the most comfortable heels I've ever worn. It's a little bit tricky walking in them, due to the 16 cm heel and such a big platform, but practice makes perfect! They are a really good replica shoes and definitely worth the money. The design is identical to the real Daffodil and you cannot tell that they're fake. I noticed by the sole... When you look closer, you can see that the printed "Christian Louboutin Paris" sign and the size aren't in the same position on both shoes - on one the sign is closer to the heel and on the other for one finger away from the heel. But despite that, nothing else tells them off.

Chloé was devastated when she saw them! xD

My kitty Chloé was devastated from the very first moment that I took them out of the box xD Honestly, I was too - they really are unusual and nothing like you've seen before. But they were worth every penny <3

Hair Care

These cold winter days are awful for keeping your hair properly hydrated. Not just during winter but through the whole year, keeping my hair looking healthy has always been a struggling problem. Since I always liked to experiment with different hair colors, my hair suffered with each drastic dying. My hairdresser told me that proper hair products can really help your hair to heel that they leave-in regenerators are the best thing your hair can get. So, I will introduce you my hair products which I use every time I wash my hair.

It usually takes me about 45 minutes to wash my hair + 15 to blowdry + 20 to iron. Thank God that my hair doesn't get dirty too often...

Since I always shampoo my hair twice, and it's really long and full, I like to use shampoos that come in 500 ml bottles because the normal ones just don't last long enough. After shampooing my hair twice I put a whole tone of conditioner until my hair is all white of it. I let it set for a couple of minutes while I brush my hair.

After rinsing it out, I use a hair mask. I have just discovered this one from Dikson and it's AMAZING! It is a little bit more on the expensive side, but it's definitely worth every penny. I keep the mask on for about 15 minutes to half an hour, depending on how much time I have. I wrap it in a towel and let the mask set while my hair is kept warm.

Once the mask is rinsed out, I cannot imagine combing my hair painlessly without using a leave-in hair conditioner. I love this whole like by Gliss Kur. This spray is amazing and has a lovely smell, it really makes it easier for you to comb your hair without problems.

This leave-in spray is perfect for really dry and damaged hair. You don't need to put much of it on because it has a wide spraying system.

This is one of my newest products that I found. It's like a cream for hair! I spray it on my palm and then apply it on my hair. It leaves it silky and takes out any frizz. It's really amazing!

Fashion Meets Technology

What do you do online? What are your favorite websites to go to? What are you actually supposed to do online? I don't even remember what I was even doing online before I discovered some of the best fashion-oriented sites!
Ok, so ofc that there is Facebook (feel free to add me if you want ^_^) and Youtube, but somehow those two never really kept me entertained for a longer time.

Since I was always so interested in fashion, 3 years ago I came across a website on my Facebook news feed and decided to check it out, simply out of boredom. Now, that site is taking up the biggest part of my free time. The site is called Polyvore and you have probably heard about it. It's an easy way to put clothes together while in the same time making them look artistic with proper backgrounds and styles. It wasn't so easy in the first place. It was really hard starting up: my sets looked awful, I didn't know how to make a proper background, I never got many likes nor followers. But then I developed my own background style then - keeping the clothes and accessories big and in the first place while there is just one photo in the corner. It's wasn't every artistic and it looked too plain after some time... That's probably why only one glance on a "magazine page" style was enough for me to fall in love with that and keep the same style for the whole time. I invested a lot of time on my Polyvore profile, but it was definitely worth it. I enjoy making new sets, getting new likes and comments, returning the likes and comments as well, finding amazing sets of other members, moderating my group Chic Mademoiselle, and making contests every 3 days.

So, Polyvore is definitely one of the best ways to "kill time". However, it's pretty much impossible to make sets all the time, so I went to look for other websites on which I could do something connected with fashion. I started a blog on Tumblr, but for some reason I cannot keep myself devoted to it. I still go to reblog something every now and then, but I don't spend much time on it. (feel free to follow me, I always follow back).

While I was searching for a specific TopShop cropped denim jacket that I failed to buy, I came across another fashion-oriented website: Fashiolista. It's a really simple clothes-liking website that you can browse on while doing whatever you like (or have to, like studying something boring :P). I love it because it lets you see all the stunning clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories, personalized your style and show it to other people, but also see people's style and what they like.

From Fashiolista, I got to Pinspire. They post stuff different from Fashiolista and Polyvore, because they're supposed to have a background. I find it very simple to Tumblr, actually... Just that you can make collections to express your inspirations, ideas, likes, pets, food, decor, whatever you like. As much as I noticed, it's still a very new site so not a lot of photos have been uploaded. I'm trying to upload as many possible, every time I get an idea of what I can fit in.

Another website which I discovered it TookLookbook. It's a nice web to find all the designer collections on one place, arranged by the season and shows. I usually use it to upload photos to fashiolista.

Lookbook.nu has been one of my fave websites for so long, but I never got the guts to actually make my own. Probably because I was scared people will ignore my style and say that it's nothing special... That is also probably why I haven't uploaded a look in a whileeee... xD I really should, though. I own some amazing clothes and I have no idea what I'm scared of. Maybe I'm just lazy to take the photos because I have the feeling like I'm supposed to look my best.

There was another website that I adored... but unfortunately they shut down.
The site was called Looklet. It still "works", but you cannot save your creations, everybody's accounts have been removed and it's just a sad thing that they had to shut down... I think that if they had a better promotion that then their popularity would have been better. I still make looks there, just that now I take a screenshot of it, instead of saving the look as it usually was possible. It's a really great site because you get to see the clothes put on. My future sister-in-law showed the site and I fell in love with it the first moment.

I am so glad that there are sooo many amazing fashion sites! If you know some more, please comment below :)

Edgy Hair

Beautiful hair is 80% of a good look and a wonderful appearance. But, I've been struggling with my hair for many many years.
I started fully dying my hair when I was 15 years old. Before that age I had a couple of highlights that my mom made for me. But I always had it professionally dyed from the age of 15. My hairdresser is like my friend, and since she's been with me through my whole hair-history, she knows exactly what suits my hair. I think that not changing a hairdresser is a big plus, because they get to know you and your hair so they can better understand your likes and dislikes. I have my hair dyed at a Matrix's salon Frizer d.o.o. They use Matrix and Dikson hair dyes which are, according to my opinion, the best. I tried dying my hair at home by myself but I never got an outcome. Not even one hair dye showed on my hair! I have full faith in my hairdresser because she can make everything I wish for come true. Being so in love with changing my appearance drastically with every hair dye, I changed my hair color every single month. Besides that, I ironed it every single day, fighting a battle of trying to straighten my curls. Well not really curls. I would loooove my hair if it was normally curly! My hair is naturally wavy-frizzy, definitely not nice-looking, and it's really annoying to try to make something out of it.
Two years ago I had it bleached for the very first time and that was the worst thing I could do to my already dried out and tortured hair.

I calmed down after that platinum blonde session, so now my hair has been a lovely light blonde color with a little bit of a strawberry-blonde subtone ever since I got over my platinum faze and realized what it has done to my hair.

I always like to have my personal style showing when it comes to my hair, so I usually go with a shocking highlight. Currently I have a bright neon-orange highlight only on one side. Before that I tried the half-tint ends of hair trend.

My hair is finally looking healthy and just like it should be. It was a long recovering process with millions of hair products for dry and frizzy hair applied every day. In the next post I will talk about hair wonder-makers when it comes to affordable products.

High Heels + Comfort?

I absolutely love high heels and, if I could, I would wear them every single day! But since I'm a student, college isn't really the most appropriate place for heels. And comfort isn't even an issue here. Too many evil looks from professors and colleagues is enough to keep a style grounded.
Being unable to wear high heels to lectures, I came up with a proper solution: wedges! Not just that they're super comfortable for walking all day long, but they don't cause that much attention from colleagues passing you by in the hallways.
These are my favorite wedges. They are from Bagatt. They are made out of black suede which is covering the whole shoe. They have a zipper on the inner side, since they are really tight around the whole foot and ankle. The wedge is 14 cm high. The platform takes 2.5 cm of the height. Size 37 is shown on the photos. They were about $135.

The front of the shoe goes into a slight peak

Sews make such a great detail on them
When I need to walk for hours but still look chic, they are always my choice because of their comfort (because of genuine leather inside, and a soft pad under the toes; plus the rubber sole eases the step) and they are appropriate for any weather (on the box it says that they are made for rainy weather).

p.s.
They are not dirty! xD As they look on the photos... The suede looks like that when you run your fingers over it, leaving the impression as if it's white/gray. Whenever they are stroked in the wrong direction, they have this appearance. It looks really amazing in person, cos it seems like they're messily sprayed with white.
